Experiences in Villa del Cielo: High Altitude Wine, Gastronomy

Each experience is designed to connect you with the essence of the Quebrada de Humahuaca: the landscape, the culture, and the flavors that define our region. We invite you to enjoy high-altitude wine tastings, tours of our vineyards, and culinary experiences with a local identity.

Wine Tastings at Villa del Cielo

Discover the unique character of high-altitude wines in the Quebrada de Humahuaca through our tastings at the hotel. The star of the show is Cielo Arriba, a limited-production wine made in Huichaira, at over 2.700 meters above sea level.

This wine has been recognized by international critics, achieving 96 points from Tim Atkin and high ratings in specialized reports, positioning itself among the most outstanding expressions of Argentine high-altitude wine.

Made from a blend of Malbec, Syrah and Cabernet Franc, Cielo Arriba reflects the extreme conditions of the terroir: great temperature range, mineral soils and a slow ripening that provides concentration, freshness and elegance.

Huichaira Vineyard

Just minutes from Tilcara, Huichaira Vineyard is one of the most unique wine projects in northern Argentina. This vineyard combines landscape, culture, and high-quality production, with the participation of renowned winemaker Alejandro Sejanovich.

Our Cielo Arriba wine has been recognized by international critics, solidifying Huichaira as an emerging benchmark within the Argentine wine scene.

The terroir of Huichaira Vineyard develops in the unique natural environment of the Quebrada, at 2.700 meters above sea level, where the wide temperature range and alluvial mineral soils give rise to wines of exceptional character. These conditions produce wines with great concentration, natural freshness, and an identity marked by the landscape.

Experiences in the Vineyard

Accompanied by Luz Morcillo (sommelier), you will tour the vineyards, learn about the production process and end the experience with a glass of wine in the place where it all begins.
